Tansu constructed of big leaf maple, rock maple, and macassar ebony. Drawers are constructed of Baltic birch architectural-grade plywood. Hardware is cast and fabricated in steel by hand, then oil-dipped for three months to create a traditional patina on hinges, drawer pulls, corner and joint plates.
